Harvestfield Educational Services Ltd. was borne out of a need to facilitate the progression of youths into higher institutions abroad.
Nigeria has a total of about 170 tertiary institutions serving a population of over 200 million, 60% of which are youths. This indeed is a far cry from the over 5000 tertiary Institutions available in USA for instance. Nigerians are known for their passion for good education and because these grossly inadequate institutions are sometimes plagued by disruptive strikes and instabilities, many more Nigerians are looking at other countries to meet their education needs. Hence Nigeria has become a favorite destination for recruiters all over the world !
Harvestfield Int’l Edu Fairs (which started as the Lagos Education Expo in 2004) pioneered the very first Education Fair that brought together world class Institutions from UK, Canada, USA, Ireland etc as well as diplomatic missions of various countries such as United States Information Services (USIS), Canadian High Commission, and the British Council for the purpose of dissemination of information as well as recruitments. It was a one stop shop for students, parents and stakeholders to shop around for suitable Institutions to meet their educational needs.
Previously each country organized their fairs seperately: British Council for UK Institutions, Canadian High Commission for Canadian schools only, Education USA for US Schools only. But we brought them all together under one roof and made entry FREE! These dramatically increased the numbers of students traveling abroad for studies, because many more people began to receive information. Thousands of students have benefitted from our services over the years and our commitment to our core values – Honesty. Intergrity. Diligence. Excellence which is second to none.
Today HES is being operated by a Mother and Daughter led team of highly professional education counselors. Our excellent services have distinguished us over the years which has increased the number of referrals we get from satisfied clients.
We are British Council certified. Our director of Marketing and Admissions, Pearl Ohiani (Mrs) is a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and our visa approval rates are 99.9%
